Join us for an exciting evening at River Legacy Nature Center as we explore the fascinating world of bats through an expert presentation and an outdoor bat search.

Hear from Kate Rugroden, Director of Special Projects for Bat World Sanctuary, as she shares fascinating insights into bats, their behavior, and the important role they play in our ecosystem.
The evening will conclude outdoors with River Legacy Naturalists, using a Wildlife Acoustics Echo Meter Touch 2 Bat Detector to listen for and identify bats flying overhead.
This program is recommended for ages 8 and older.
