Looking for a fun way to stay creative this spring? Come join us for Family ArtFest on Saturday, April 11, from 10:00am to 1:00pm at The Broadway Market!This FREE, family-friendly festival is packed with art, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Explore hands-on art stations, enjoy dazzling live performances, create balloon art, get your face painted, receive a caricature of yourself, and so much more! With activities tailored for kids from Pre-K to 3rd grade (and their families!), there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you're a budding artist, a dreamer with big ideas, or just looking for a day of fun, this is an event you won’t want to miss!
Plus, the first 200 families will receive a special gift bag packed with fun surprises and activities to remember the day and keep the learning fun going at home!
Here's what you can expect throughout the day:
All Day - Music by DJ Lisa Lux
Dance, groove, and let the energy flow as DJ Lisa Lux spins the beats
10:30am - Magic Show with Ted Baumhauer
Get ready for a fun-filled interactive performance, complete with juggling, magic, tightropes, balls, and more
12:30pm - BubbleMania with Doug Rougeux
Watch in awe as bubbles bounce to Big Band Swing, form bubble cubes, and stretch over 25 feet long
Hands-On Fun Activities:
– Get creative with art activities led by our talented Teaching Artists and ArtWorks Apprentices, where you can make slap bracelets, mini "zines," watercolor cards, recycled glass magnets, and more
– Dive into exciting workshops from cultural partners like the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum
– Enjoy face painting, get a caricature of yourself drawn, and watch in wonder as balloon artists create amazing shapes and designs
– When they aren't performing, find Ted Baumhauer and Doug Rougeux around the event for more magic and bubble fun!
– Door Prize Basket:
One door prize ticket per family with pre-registration.
