Family Art Day in Nature: Honouring Glen Stewart Ravine Thru Art Creations

Join us for an artful morning and community at Glen Stewart Ravine! ✨🌿

On Saturday, October 4th from 10 AM – 12 PM, families are invited to gather at Glen Stewart Ravine (Glen Manor East entrance) for a free community art day designed for children to show their love and appreciation for the Glen Stewart Ravine.
What to Expect:

• Welcome & orientation walk into the ravine
• Nature discussions along the trail
• 45- 60 mins of child-led art creation (choose from provided materials or create with loose parts found in nature)
• A scavenger hunt for younger children
• A gallery walk to showcase the children’s creations

This event is free but limited to 15 families. Registration is required.

Why We’re Gathering:
Through art and joy, children will have the chance to express their love for the ravine, learn about its unique ecosystem, and help inspire our community to care for and protect this unique forest in the City of Toronto.

Important Details:

• Free to attend
• Each ticket covers one family
• Dress for the weather ( the ravine may be wet)
• Please bring water and snacks
• Not stroller-friendly due to the narrow trail path
• Families are required to sign a photo waiver as Friends of Glen Stewart Ravine will be capturing images/ videos of minors.

• Using public transit is encouraged
