What if we gathered the way our ancestors and elders taught us to?
What if we spent a weekend outside sharing food, stories, laughter, music, and play? What if we all got to be kids again?
Remember when summer felt endless? When folding chairs appeared from every trunk, games broke out in the yard, and nobody wanted to leave when the sun went down?
Join us at FAM JAM 2026 to remember these memories and build new ones together. This event is a land-based gathering hosted by TruCulture Community Farm & Market, bringing together the community for a weekend of joy, cultural memory, food, storytelling, play, and togetherness. Inspired by family reunions, Southern cookouts, diasporic traditions, field days, campouts, and front-porch storytelling. Fam Jam creates space for us to slow down, reconnect, and remember what it feels like to belong.
Expect waterslides, field games, cookoffs, pie contests, talent sharing, storytelling circles, music, dancing, camping under the stars, and plenty of room to laugh, rest, connect, and play.
We provide the land, activities, and shared spaces. You bring your chair, your tent, your stories, your favorite dish (optional—food will be available for purchase), and whatever makes you feel at home.

Because grown folks deserve recess too.
