September 7th | Fundamentals of Landscape Photography
In this class, we’ll cover the core principles of fine art landscape photography. From building your artistic voice to mastering composition, gear, and camera settings. You’ll get hands-on with tools and explore how to frame a compelling scene, even before heading into nature.
October 19th | Light, Color, and Creative Process
This session dives into planning your shots, working with light, and using advanced techniques like long exposures. We’ll explore color theory and post-processing to help you create mood and emotion through editing. Expect to experiment, play, and shape your unique visual style.
November 16th | Field Day + Portfolio Review (Off-site location)
We’ll meet outdoors at San Gabriel River for a guided photo session, focusing on real-time shooting and creative decision-making. Afterward, we’ll sit down back in the classroom for a thoughtful review of your images, giving personalized feedback and helping you reflect on your photographic style and goals.
