Fall/Winter Series atA&S R/C Ranch with top 5 final at Russ’ place.
Beginning October 5 we will be holding a 5 comp Fall/Winter comp series at Allen Wooten’s place. Each comp will consist of courses set up that day by competitors so everyone can run.
Your top 3 scores of all 5 comps will be combined for a total score. This way you don’t have to be at all 5 to be competitive for the top 5. Top 5 for the series will have the opportunity to compete for the championship at TBD March 1 2025. There will be cash and prizes at each event throughout the series. $10 entry fee. One vehicle per competitor per comp. We will have a driver’s meeting after sign up at each comp. We will be put in groups. Each group will go work together to set their course. Courses will consist of 10 gates. Once courses are made groups will keep each others scores and times and move as a groups through the courses. I.e. there may be 5 people in your group you each get 2 gates and set them in order and decide who will run the timer and who will hold the clipboard and keep score. Series will be held on the first Saturday of each month October 5, November 2, December 7, January 4 & February 1.
Comp rules
-Chassis length including bumpers must meet or exceed wheel base (bumpers are not required)
-No Motor On Axle (MOA)
-No electronics on axle except servo
-4.75” maximum diameter (manufacturer spec)
-Course direction applies. You may back through a gate but only in intended direction
-Winches Will Not Be Used
-Body Must Cover at least 80% of Chassis. Cab only rigs can have bed between rails as long as cab and bed combined extend to 80% of chassis.
-No 4WS ( if you have it… Just don’t use it )
-No Dig ( if you have it …just don’t use it )
-If there are boundary lines an out of bound is automatic repo to last progressed gate and counts +15 only (If you repo you must have 1 tire breaking the plain of the gate)
-Min. Gate Width 12″ minimum
-gate progress is done by passing at least one front tire and one rear tire between gate markers. You cannot cross the top of a gate without touching it or it will be counted as a touch. (Imagine gates go up to the sky)
-gates are live entire run unless you hit them and the side you hit is dead
-10 minutes per course
-80 point max. If you point out you DNF
