Fall Waterbird Migration Field Trip

Meet in the main parking lot of Sensiba SWA on the north side of Sunset Beach Road at 07:00. We will explore the full loop trail, looking for a mixture of forest, water, and marsh birds. A highlight of this preserve is the expansive retention area which often holds many waterbirds. Sensiba is one of the top eBird hotspots in Brown County because it contains such a diversity of habitats for birds.
Accessibility details: Gravel parking lot. Handicap parking available. Trails are level boardwalk, gravel, or grass with occasional rough surfaces. We will be traveling about three miles in a loop. No bathrooms.
Field trips will be led by local birder and UWGB graduate student Edwin Wilke. If you have any questions about a field trip, the birds you might see, or accessibility, please email Edwin at [email protected]. RSVPs are appreciated as well!
