Fall Used Book Sale **Member Night Early Access** Bowman Library

The Friends of Handley Regional Library System are excited to announce the Fall Used Book Sale, with an exclusive Friends Member Night on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bowman Library Meeting Room. This special preview night allows current Friends members to shop the extensive collection of gently used books, DVDs, CDs, and more before the sale opens to the public. Not a member yet? Members will receive a postcard invitation and can pick up their admission number starting at 4:00 PM in the Bowman Library lobby. Doors open at 5:00 PM, with the sale running until 8:00 PM. Prices range from just $1-$2, with some rare and special items priced at $5 or more. Categories will be organized for easier browsing, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own bags or boxes to carry their treasures. Payment options include cash, credit card, and check.
