Get ready for an empowering event that celebrates the extraordinary contributions of women shaping our community! Women with an Impact is a special gathering dedicated to honoring the incredible women who have made significant strides in politics, community service, and beyond.
At this event, we will hear from trailblazing women who have navigated unique challenges and made remarkable impacts in their fields. They will share their inspiring stories, the obstacles they’ve overcome, and the lessons they’ve learned along the way.
Mandie Landry – Louisiana State Representative; she is a Louisiana legislator representing part of New Orleans. She works to pass bipartisan legislation, on issues such as maternal health, gun safety, and protecting and supporting New Orleans and the gulf coast. She has been a lawyer for almost 20 years and still practices.
Julie Stokes – Founder of Ellevate, purpose is to empower women leaders throughout Louisiana by connecting and educating them on the challenges impacting our State with data-driven, non-partisan solutions to make a better future for Louisiana
Jennifer Van Vrancken – Councilwoman at Large, Jefferson Parish; she is an attorney and former television journalist. She works hard to bring innovation, efficiency and common sense to government.
Simone Bruno – Founder of Demo Diva; she founded Demo Diva 15 years ago after Hurrican Katrina with residential demolition because contractors wouldn’t take a woman seriously. Simone recognized that the first step to rebuilding was demolition, and her flooded neighbors’ needs were greater than her own.
