About this Event
Experience the Fall Sound Garden, a seasonal, living meditation by Erica Nguyễn combining immersive sound baths and interactive art installations. Each gathering is a multisensory garden of sound, seasonal flowers, fruits, and reflection.
As leaves fall and the light softens, we are reminded that release is part of the cycle. The Fall Sound Garden is an invitation to let go of what no longer serves, to reflect on what has passed, and to renew your inner soil for what’s ahead.
Hosted at Bituin Studio in San Francisco, the space is transformed by Erica’s floral installation, Haptic Garden by Chris Giang, and the in-house gallery featuring Jy Jimmie Flora Gabiola.
Two Sound Bath Sessions:
- Yin Session (11 AM – 12:30 PM): Tea ritual, breathwork, and a restorative sound bath themed on surrender, stillness, and letting go.
- Yang Session (6:30 PM – 8:30 PM): Ancestral cacao ritual, breathwork, and a powerful sound bath with gongs, bowls, and harp—amplifying vitality, resonance, and transformation.
Attend one session or both for a full, transformative experience.
Part 1: Yin Session (Daytime)
Sunday, November 9 | 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM | Bituin Studio
The Yin Session begins with an immersive tea ritual to awaken the senses and prepare the body to soften into a state of presence. Surrounded by the immersive Haptic Garden installation, you’ll be invited to touch, listen, and shape the evolving soundscape before journeying inward with a restorative sound bath themed around surrender—like autumn leaves falling or the shedding of skin. Joseph Gabriel will guide you through an energetic breathwork session to calm the mind and ground the body. Expect stillness, softness, and deep rest, honoring the Yin qualities of receptivity, intuition, and letting go.
Part 2: Yang Session (Evening)
Sunday, November 9 | 6:30 – 8:00 PM | Bituin Studio
The Yang Session shifts into movement, activation, and connection with spirit. The evening begins with an ancestral cacao ritual led by Deni Slehiman, interwoven with the breath of a sacred wind instrument to open a portal of remembrance. From there, Erica guides a meditation and a powerful sound bath with gongs, bowls, harp, and chimes—amplifying the Yang qualities of vitality, resonance, and transformation. Come with an open heart, ready to engage with sound as a bridge to release and renewal.
Logistics
Doors open 30 minutes before each session for quiet reflection and interaction with the installations.
What to Bring: Yoga mat, blankets, pillows, eye mask, journal (optional, and an imperative willingness to let go.
This is more than just an event—it’s a seasonal ritual. An invitation to:
- Honor endings as fertile ground for new beginnings
- Experience the resonance of sound as a tool for inner clearing
- Deepen your connection to the rhythms of nature
- Learn about fall plants and their grounding properties
- Compost old stories, and tend to the garden within
Our commitment to sustainability and community remains at the heart of this experience, with all florals and botanicals locally sourced and seasonally inspired.
Come as you are. Leave a little lighter. Together, we’ll sit in the pause, attune to autumn’s teachings, and remember: What falls away also feeds the next bloom.
We value inclusivity—if cost is a barrier, please reach out. Sliding scale options and volunteer opportunities are available so that all who feel called may join.
