The Montclair Campus of L’Alliance New York invites you to explore its space and enjoy a variety of mini-classes and workshops for toddlers, kids, teens, and adults, a book exchange and book sale, plus a family storytime and film screening! Visit our information tables to meet our staff and learn more about our membership program, culture and language voyages, French exams, and L’Alliance Preschool, a French immersion program in the heart of downtown Montclair.
Free Admission
11am-4pm
Visitors are invited to explore the Montclair Campus of L’Alliance New York. Throughout the day, you can tour our space, meet our team, and discover all that our community has to offer from immersive French classes for all ages and all levels of French, to cultural programs, membership and our French immersion preschool.
Admission is free but booking is required to receive a 5% discount on fall courses. Every reservation will be entered for a chance to win a free 10-week French course.
French Book Sale & Community Book Exchange | 11am-4pm
French Storytime | 11am-11:30am
Join us during the Montclair Campus Open House to participate in a French book exchange and book sale, and enjoy a French story time and coloring activity.
Family Film Screening: Small Change

Relax at our indoor family matinée screening of François Truffaut’s Small Change! Children and adults alike can enjoy this cozy afternoon movie experience that follows the interconnected stories of a group of children.
Movie Box lunches are available for pre-order.
Trial French Classes for Youth and Adults
1:30pm to 4:15pm
Guests can participate in trial French classes designed for children (ages 5 to 11), teens (ages 11 to 18), and adults. Each immersive, 45-minute class is $20. If you decide to register for a fall session, this fee will be credited toward your tuition (offer valid for new students only)*.
Creative Workshops for Toddlers and Kids
1:30 PM to 4:15 PM
We are pleased to offer creative workshops for toddlers and young children from 1:15 PM to 4:00 PM. These sessions are $20 with the same credit-back offer.
Introduce French through fun, hands-on activities such as arts and crafts, cooking, and music. Whether your child is brand new to French or already has some experience, there’s something engaging for every little learner.
Door Prize
Every guest attending the Open House will receive a complimentary entry into our prize drawing. The winner will receive a free 10-week French course for either an adult or child. A course must be taken in the fall 2025 to qualify for the free course. Gift certificate valid for a year.
*Please note that course discounts cannot be combined with any other offers except for our family, multi-class, or referral discounts. The offer is not applicable to private lesson packages, books, or our preschool program.
