GRAM members and their guests are invited to celebrate the opening GRAM’s fall exhibitions. Join us for a first look at three new exhibitions, accompanied by hors d’oeuvres, live music, and a cash bar.
7:30 pm Artist Talk with Gary Tyler and Ray Materson (Seating first come, first served.)
Within three new exhibitions, GRAM examines creativity as an essential human impulse capable of fostering purpose, resilience, and connection even within the most restrictive circumstances. Bringing together Julie Green’s monumental installation, Gary Tyler’s powerful quilts, and Ray Materson’s intricate embroideries, GRAM presents three distinct artistic practices that emerged from or respond to experiences with the criminal justice system and incarceration.
Explore the exhibitions and learn more about the artwork on view from GRAM’s knowledgeable docents who will be available throughout the galleries.
