The Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton invites children in grades 3 through 5 to an afterschool cooking class on Thursday, October 2 at 4:00 PM. Instructor Erica Benvenuti, RD, a community nutrition program educator with the UConn Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program, will lead kids in creating delicious treats with the flavors of fall. Registration is required and space is limited. Registration begins 2 weeks prior to the program. To register, go to https://tinyurl.com/2fyyduzh or call the library. Library hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday and Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
