Fall Kickoff Party - Jefferson County Chapter - U of A Alumni Association

We are excited to welcome you to our Fall Kickoff Party on Monday, August 19th, 2024 at Back Forty Brewing (3201 1st Ave N, Birmingham, AL 35222), a family friendly venue.

Doors open at 5:30pm with heavy hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, and additional food for purchase. The event fee is $10 for members / $25 for non-members (including children 10 & up), helping us direct more funds to scholarship.

Our program will begin at 6:00pm and will feature Bobby Humphrey, former UA and NFL star, to give an outlook for the 2024 season. A Q&A opportunity will follow. Additionally, our raffle ticket promotion features a grand prize of a PAIR of great football tickets to all seven of the 2024 home games, including Georgia, Auburn, South Carolina, and Missouri. The first 500 tickets sold are eligible for this grand prize and additional prizes as well. Raffle tickets are $20 each, and you do not need to be present to win. The mission of our Chapter is to encourage Jefferson County students to attend the University and to provide scholarships to Jefferson County students attending the University. With your support, we are able to provide more than 20 scholarships totaling over $40,000 each year. In addition to supporting your local Chapter to raise money for scholarships, your Chapter membership includes admission to Chapter events, such as the Fall Kickoff Party, watch parties, and trivia nights. Annual membership levels vary from a $20 membership for young alumni (under 30), $35 for other individuals, $50 for a joint membership, and other supporter and partner levels.
