@3-hour hike.... moderate to challenging course. (a couple of big hills). Waterloo Rec Area (Waterloo-Pinckney Trail; heading SouthWest). Turn-around point is at Bush Road.
Notes: There are no bikes allowed on this course.
10:30AM PARK/MEET: Green Lake parking area (located about 1/2 mile into Green Lake entrance/campground.) Plan to start walking at 1100AM, so end time will be approximately 2:00pm. *Maybe go out to for early dinner after.
Packing list:
1) Uniform :) -- comfortable walking shoes (running shoes are fine for this trail) and clothing (workout clothes). Rucksack or backpack with a bit of weight in it.
2) Sustenance: WATER, snacks, beverages of choice. There will be Jerky.
3) Sticks: Recommend walking sticks for uphills and downhills.
4) Bug spray; we will have some if you don't have any.
Forecast for Sunday the 6th as of today: 74 with a slight chance of rain.
