About this Event
Join hosts Benham Jones and Alisa Ali from WFUV, Queens Botanical Garden, and The Astoria Food Pantry, as we get ready to Fall Into the Garden with a music-filled garden party and activities to celebrate the Equinox and Apples and Honey Day! Come and connect with friends, music lovers, and nature to lift your spirits and the spirits of others. Help us collect food and donations to make a difference so that Queens residents in need won’t be left behind.
This event promotes mutual aid! Please bring non-perishable items to benefit Astoria Food Pantry.

- Live music from artists featured on "NY Slice", WFUV’s weekday feature that puts the spotlight on local artists from the tristate area.
- Apple and honey tastings and meet the QBG Beekeeper
- Botanical crafts and gardening activities
- Guided Garden and farm tours
- All ages dance party with WFUV DJs spinning the tunes
- Vendor fair and food trucks by local artists and purveyors
Pricing
Your low cost admission supports Queens Botanical Garden, the place where people, plants, and cultures meet! QBG is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Entry to Fall into the Garden with WFUV is included in Garden Admission. Get your tickets now though Eventbrite; walk-ins based on availability the day of the event. QBG Members do not need to pre-purchase admission; please show membership card at the Admission Booth.

*Note: Free hours are suspended on Sunday, September 22. $15 Parking rate in effect.
Help raise vital food supplies for Queens residents experiencing food insecurity by bringing non-perishable food and household items to donate for Astoria Food Pantry. (High need items include: cereal, oatmeal, canned tuna, cooking oil, ground/instant coffee, diapers, baby wipes and menstrual pads.)
Each person who donates items for AFP will receive a special gift from WFUV*along with a chance to win a pair of concert tickets. (*Gifts available while supplies last.)
Rain Date for this event will be the following Sunday, September 29.
