Start each day with Ground Grooves Floorwork taught by Arletta Anderson. After rolling, sliding and getting upside down, we'll have a technical contact improvisation class with Sabine Parzer (somatics) or Ezra LeBank (flying & falling). After a relaxing lunch, we'll have space for a nap, a stretch and a snack, followed by dancing scores and ensemble play with Sabine or Ezra.
We'll take another stretch and snack break, and cap each day with a jam (silent or live music). And we are excited to welcome Olivia Treviño who will facilitate a Viewpoints jam warmup to bring us into ensemble space.
Our intention is to dance dance dance until 8pm and then enjoy our evenings together or apart, take an easy morning and start again at 11am the next day.
This sweet 4-day dance immersion is created for contact improvisers who have been engaged in the practice/form/play for six months or more.
