Whether you're a gardenholic, a weekend warrior, or just want to learn more, come hang out with us at our Fall Gardening Festival. Free Demonstrations: (Vermiculture 101, In-ground Composting, Rain Barrel Make and Take ($75 to purchase barrel on site), Mason Bee House Make and Take.
Plant Sale: Fall is the best time to plant! We will have a huge selection of plants available. We will also have spring blooming bulbs (for fall planting) and native plant plugs.
Walk the AREC Gardens: Bring your walking shoes because this facility has 28 amazing gardens you have to check out!
Harvest Harmony Flower Show: Presented by the Tidewater District Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs. Tour the beautiful work of exhibitors who will compete for awards in Horticulture and Design.
We will also have: Ask a Master Gardener, Bake Sale, Children's Activities, Garden Tours, HR Groups & Societies, Locally grown mums, gourds & pumpkins, Seed Library, VBMG Trash to Treasure.
Free admission, Free Parking, Pet-friendly.
