Fall Fundraiser

This year Acorn awarded nearly $50,000 in scholarships and offered free community programs to over 100 children and adults. To continue offering free and low-cost high-quality outdoor education, we've set a fall fundraising goal of $25,000. .

Help us increase our impact and ensure that cost is never a barrier to outdoor learning. Join us for a festive fall night of food, drinks, community, and karaoke at Goldfinch Social, a fantastic new event space at the Roost!

: Launched in 2023, Acorn offers summer camps, day-off camps, and other outdoor educational programming to help children learn about the environment around them in DC, encourage their curiosity and understanding of science, and build an appreciation for the outdoor spaces in our community. We are made up of a diverse community of educators and learners and we help build hands-on outdoor experiences for kids that aim to help support their development while inspiring a lifelong commitment to environmental stewardship.
