In this road-trip we will explore beautiful landscapes of Canadian provinces Quebec AND Nova Scotia with their pristine lakes, rivers, babbling brooks, forests, and somewhere - rocky shores and pine-shaded granite mountains. The time of the trip is at about a peak of fall foliage colors in the areas!
We start in Montreal, QC, drive through and hike La Mauricie National Park, Parc National du Mont-Tremblant, and National parks of Frontenac, Gatineau and Oka. Then we road-trip to New Brunswick, enter Nova Scotia, and after hiking and sightseeing there we drive back and end the route in Quebec City, QC.
The Nova Scotia stretch is a new addition to the route (that we made.) It's continued to be research so the length (and cost) of the trip could possibly become longer but no more than for one day.
Besides the natural beauty we can explore and enjoy rated as the prettiest small towns of Trios-Rivieras, Champlain. The larger towns we will visit are Ottawa, Montreal.
U.S. citizens entering Canada must have proof of U.S. citizenship. Permanent residents of the U.S. must have a U.S. green card. A visa or electronic visa may also be required for some countries.

Trip's summary:
* 7days/6nights trip for a small group of 6 explorers.
* The starting point is Montreal, QC, and the ending point is Quebec City, QC,
* Level of activities: Easy to Intermediate.
* Hotel accommodations in Montreal, QC, Victoriaville, QC, Halifax, NS, Quebec City, QC. All locations in this event follow safety requirements by the state.
Clothes and gear recommended:
* good hiking shoes,
* warm jacket for evenings, be ready to layer up,
* be prepared for snowy hiking in some areas,
* hiking poles if you used to them,
* consider hydration bladder for hikes,
* sunglasses,
* sunscreen,
* hat,
* for personal protection: mask, carry-on sanitizer, gloves (by your choice.)
Tentative cost $870 (will be finally updated 2 months before the start.) Payment link through Eventbrite will be posted. What is included:
* 7days/6nights stay in 2-people occupancy non-smoking room (two beds in room),
* Breakfasts at some hotels,
* Transportation by SUV (Chevrolet Tahoe or similar) covering approx. 950 mi of road-tripping total,
* Park entrance fees,
* Organized hikes in all days.
What is NOT included:
* Getting to Toronto, ON, and returning from Montreal, QC.
* any individually charged fees (per vehicle charges are covered.)
* Meals, snacks, water.
Sunrise: 7 am. Sunset: 6 pm. Everyday we want to start off from the hotel at 7 am or 7:30am. If you are a night owl, please try to adjust yourself for an earlier getup during the trip - the purpose of it is to use more of daylight for activities.

HOW to RESERVE a SPOT in the GROUP:
You should be able to see an Eventbrite payment link. The $10 payment through Eventbrite is for reserving your spot in this small group(and it counts in toward the whole payment for the trip.) After you reserved a spot, you will be contacted by the organizer about a Zoom meeting with the group and joining a WhatsApp group chat. Meeting your future group-mates in a Zoom and being able to communicate by WhatsApp are mandatory steps to become a part of this trip and make the full payment.
If any of these cannot be done/mind changed, the $10 reservation payment will be refunded in full though the initial means of payment, minus fees paid to Eventbrite/third parties.
The outline of the trip will be communicated during a Zoom meeting and in WhatsApp group chat. The detailed, hour-by-hour, itinerary will be provided to the confirmed participants of the trip.
