Fall Fixers Series: DIY Book Stand

Join us for our Fall Fixers Series presented by Crosstown Connection and the East Warren Tool Library! This exciting series is designed to empower participants with essential woodworking skills, bridging the gap in the digital divide by fostering hands-on creativity and collaboration.

Event Details:

• When: October 16th, November 6th, December 4th, 6-8 PM
• Where: East Warren Tool Library
• Cost: $25 per person (ages 12 and up)

Must RSVP for each event separately. $25 per person per class.

Workshop Schedule:

• October 16th - Dictionary Day: Craft your very own book stand and learn the basics of woodworking while celebrating the written word.
• November 6th - Saxophone Day: Create a stylish DIY vinyl record display/storage solution as you explore the intersection of music and craftsmanship.
• December 4th - Refurbishing Workshop: Bring your vintage wooden furnishings and decor to life! This drop-in workshop is perfect for restoring items for the holiday season.

Each workshop will cover essential safety practices, provide all necessary tools and materials, and give you hands-on experience with a range of equipment—from hand tools like hammers to power tools like chop saws.
