Fall Family Picnic '26
About this Event
Bring the whole family to O’Hara Park for the Harvard Club of Western PA's annual Fall Picnic! We’ll be serving up classic cookout dishes to celebrate the season and the start of a new membership year.
Our gathering will be at shelter #1, with a nearby playground and plenty of green space for kids. As always, there’s no cost to attend, just bring your appetite and a little something to share.
Food will largely be covered by the club, so please consider bringing a snack, dessert or drink like soda, beer, or cider.
Special HCWPA Meeting
This year’s picnic will also double as a special meeting. At the beginning of the event we will hold a short meeting to consider the adoption of new By-Laws. All members of the HCWPA will be entitled to vote on the amendments and an affirmative vote of 4/5’s of the members present is required to adopt the new By-Laws. The proposed By-Laws, as drafted by the Nominating Committee and approved by the Executive Committee, can be accessed at this link.
