Fall Family Outdoor Expo Returns to Golden Lake Park This October!
Mark your calendars and gather the family for an afternoon of outdoor adventure and community fun! The Fall Family Outdoor Expo is returning for its 6th year on Saturday October 11 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Golden Lake Park (67 West Golden Lake Road Circle Pines MN 55014).
Originally launched in 2020 by several scouting units in the Centennial School District this annual event has grown into a beloved fall tradition bringing together local scouting groups families and community partners for an exciting and engaging afternoon.

What to Expect
The Fall Family Outdoor Expo is a free public event designed to showcase the fun skills and spirit of scouting and ways to get youth outdoors. Local Cub Scout Packs Scouts BSA Troops and other youth organizations will host hands-on activity stations for families to enjoy. Expect games outdoor skills demonstrations crafts archery and more—all aimed at giving kids a taste of the adventures that scouting offers. There will also be some freebies and giveaways for youth attendees!
The event’s primary focus is youth K-6 though all are welcome. Whether you're already involved in scouting or just curious about what it’s all about this event is a perfect way to learn more.
Leaders from across the Centennial district will be available to answer questions and help you find the best-fit unit based on school location meeting times and more.
