Join us as we celebrate the summer stars and constellations as we transition to fall. summer. Our friend, astronomer, author & natural storyteller Stephan Martin will show you the bright and splendid starscape under a warm evening in the mountains.Saturn will be rising at its near brightest for the year, while we admire and appreciate the beautiful stars and constellations of summer. Steve will point out the famous Summer Triangle, that connects three stars and constellations together, along with the other famous constellations of summer, including the Scorpion and Sagittarius the Archer. We’ll share stories of some of these famous constellations and get a peek at the upcoming constellations of fall as they make their way above the eastern horizon.
Show up early to check-in on the will call list(reminder, there will be no physical ticket), hit the farm store to get snacked up! Sodas, beers, wine by the glass or bottle and all sorts of chips, chocolates, meat sticks and goodies.
Check the weather and dress accordingly, big blankets for sitting on/wrapping up in are recommended, good shoes for all weather to walk the grounds to your final destination. Do you have a telescope, binoculars or spyglass? Bring it along!
