Fall Equinox Sound Bath
In our world full of stress and challenges, its important that we each find time and space to relax and utilize practices which help to bring our whole being into harmony and balance. With balance in mind, we recognize that the Fall Equinox is a particular moment of the Earth's movement through the cosmos where we find a balance of day and night.
On that note, on Sunday, September 21st you are invited to a Fall Equinox Sound Bath at Phoenix Fitness and Yoga in downtown Staunton, VA! Event to be led by Greg Burns of Metta Vibrations and will include a Sound Bath experience followed by lite snacks, tea and time to socialize.
This experience can be a deeply meditative and relaxing experience, as well as very transformational. This session will begin at 6pm and will incorporate the soothing sounds of Tibetan Singing Bowls, Symphonic Gong, and more.
Participants will be invited to relax and become comfortable for the session. After being invited to get comfortable and offering some brief guided relaxation, Greg will begin filling the atmosphere with the harmonic tones of the various instruments. The sounds will last about an hour before being guided back to waking consciousness. Time to ground and reflect on the experience will be offered before concluding the session. Lite snacks, tea and time to socialize following the Sound Bath.
Cost is $30.
Event starts at 6pm and will conclude no later than 8pm. Sound Bath alone should finish by 7:15.
No prior experience is needed. These sessions are geared to aid those not experienced with meditation, as well as offer an opportunity for deep meditation for experienced practitioners.
Participants are encouraged to wear loose, comfortable clothing and limit caffeine intake prior. Yoga mats, blankets, and bolsters are available to use for the session. You may also consider bringing any mat, pillow, blanket or crystal you desire to have with you for the session.
