On Monday, September 22, celebrate the shifting of the seasons at Ancient Lore Village during our Fall Equinox Celebration — an enchanting evening honoring the balance between light and dark, day and night. Set amidst the golden hues of early autumn, this immersive event invites you to pause, reflect, and give thanks for the harvests of both land and spirit.As the sun dips behind the hills, you’ll be welcomed at the Village with the warmth of candlelight, the beauty of nature’s turning, and the grounding presence of ancient stone.
Evening Agenda:
6:00pm: Gates Open + Welcome Gathering; Cider toast; Explore the Village’s scenic trails, gardens, and seasonal displays; Learn the folklore and significance of the equinox
6:30pm: Autumn Harvest Feast
— Village Salad
— Savory Smoked Turkey Legs
— Cornbread Stuffing with Turkey Gravy
— Honey-Roasted Carrots
— Mixed Berry Tart
— Optional mead or cider pairing available for purchase
7:30pm: Guided Fall Reflection + Intention Ceremony — Join around the FirePit for a ritual of release and renewal; Write down what you’re letting go and what you seek to harvest; Place your intentions into the ceremonial fire; Live acoustic music under the twilight sky
8:00pm: Moonlight Walk + Closing Blessing; Lantern-lit walk along the forest trail; Receive a final blessing to carry into the season ahead
