Dare to Lead™ is a research-based leadership development program grounded in the work of Brené Brown. Designed to help leaders build courage, connection, and trust, this transformative experience equips participants with practical skills to lead more effectively in times of uncertainty, change, and complexity.

Brené defines a leader as "anyone who takes responsibility for finding the potential in people and processes and has the courage to develop that potential." Through this interactive workshop, participants learn how to cultivate courageous leadership in their teams, organizations, and communities.

The Courage-Building Skill Sets

Research shows that courage is not an innate trait—it is a set of skills that can be learned, practiced, and strengthened. The Dare to Lead™ program focuses on four teachable, measurable, and observable skill sets:

What to Expect

This 24-hour, in-person leadership intensive combines facilitated learning, self-reflection, discussion, and practical application. Participants will deepen their capacity to lead with courage, strengthen trust and accountability, navigate difficult conversations, and foster more connected and courageous team cultures.

Upon completion of the full program, participants receive a Dare to Lead™ Certificate of Completion and the Dare to Lead™ Trained badge for LinkedIn.
