Some say you have to be born with the blues to play the blues. That was the case when Jon Neuberger was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome at an early age. But that didn’t stop Jon from picking up the guitar at the age of thirteen. Eventually, Jon also picked up the harmonica and ukulele. Jon was given the name JONNY T-BIRD while he was a student at Wauwatosa West High School and one of his teachers (Bob Bathurst) called him that name out of the blue. The more he did it, the more that name stuck. Over ten years in the making of his professional blues musician career and Jonny has already shared the stage and bill with national artists like Greg Koch, Altered Five Blues Band, Casey James, Michael Coleman, Billy Flynn, Johnny Burgin, Sue Foley, Frank Bang, Coco Montoya, James Armstrong, Gabe Stillman, Gaelynn Lea and Doug Deming.
