Soak in the beautiful Colorado fall colors while celebrating the season in style from your paddleboard or kayak!Join this fun social day on the water with Life's 2 Short Fitness and SUP Sisters Colorado before cooler temperatures settle in and we put away the boards for the season.
Celebrate the fall season and dress to impress in your favorite Halloween themed attire!
The SUP session will be guided with several L2S & SUP Sisters ambassadors providing assistance, we will explore the connected lakes taking in the changing colors and hopefully glimpse native wildife including bald and golden eagles.
Lightweight costumes only! No bulky, heavy or inflatable costumes please, this could be a downing hazard if you fall in.
Kayakers are also welcome to join. Bring your kids and/or dogs in costume too!
Event fee includes:
- SUP Sisters and L2S stickers
- Digital photo album
- SUP Sisters ambassadors on-site to help out newbies with pumping up boards and answering questions!
- Proceeds will help us to continue hosting social events, zoom presentations, charity events plus invest in safety gear that we loan out for no charge including PDF's, leashes, extra paddles and more. Thank you for supporting the community!
- Discounted paddleboard or kayak 90 minute rentals available for $25
Safety stuff:
REQUIRED: PFD, leash and whistle. State law requires a PDF on the board. Kids 12 and under are required by law to wear a properly fitted PFD at all times on the water.
REMEMBER: there are no instructors or lifeguards on duty during these events. You are responsible for your own safety while on the lake. Please dress appropriately, and know your skill level.
Refund and transfers not available 24 hours prior to the event.
Weather policy:
We will let participants know if we need to cancel or delay an event within an hour of the planned meetup start time via email and on the Facebook event page. We know some people travel a bit to get to our location however the forecast in Colorado can change hour by hour and we don't want to make a premature decision. If we need to cancel we will always offer a credit for a future event or a refund. Thank you for understanding!
Location: Location is Connected Lakes in James M. Robb state Park. We are meeting in the parking lot off Dike rd. USE THIS MAP PIN ! We will be setup on a picnic table behind the restrooms near the water
*Please note that you are responsible for transportation to the event and getting to the event on-time. There is a $10 entry fee or you can use a Colorado state park pass to enter the park. We will send out emails and post on the facebook event page instructions and details for getting to the location.
Refund policy:
- We do not offer refunds within 24 hours before the event
- We will not offer a refund if you are unable to make it to the event or are lost or late on event date.
- Our staff will be unable to take calls or messages 2 hours prior to the event start time.
