Fall Color & Nature Photowalk: Saginaw Forest

Join CameraMall as we explore Saginaw Forest in Ann Arbor, MI. We plan to capture the peaceful nature surrounding Third Sister Lake, and (hopefully) the culmination of Fall colors. Meet other photographers, share ideas, and make photos with us!

We will begin our walk at the Saginaw Forest Trailhead (see meeting point below), walk into Saginaw Forest, and loop the trail around Third Sister Lake.

PLEASE READ: Saginaw Forest trails are unpaved and generally easy, though they can be narrow in some areas. The route includes a moderate incline and decline with some tree roots and rocks at the start and end. We recommend wearing sturdy shoes and comfortable clothing. The walk will cover about 1–2 miles at a relaxed pace with breaks for photography.

We will meet at the Saginaw Forest Trailhead, adjacent to the parking lot (see photo below).

Free parking is available at the trailhead, next to the 2|42 Community Church.
