Let's join forces and make our planet shine by participating in the Fall Clean Up - let's clean up and have fun together!Join HeightsNEXT for our Annual Fall Clean-Up event and help make Columbia Heights shine! ���
� Date: Saturday, October 12, 2024
� Time: 9:00 AM
� Location: Columbia Heights Public Library
We'll kick off the event by handing out safety vests and garbage bags at the library. Then, we'll assign clean-up areas to all volunteers. Families with young children will have park clean-up areas designated for them. Each group will work together to pick up trash from sidewalks and greenery like bushes and grass along the sidewalks and within the park. ��
A big shoutout to the City of Columbia Heights for generously providing us with a meeting space, trash bags, and additional garbage pickups. HeightsNEXT relies on our incredible community partners and dedicated volunteers like you! ��
Please remember to dress according to the weather and wear gloves for safe trash handling. We'll be there, rain or shine, unless weather conditions are dangerous and require cancellation. (Check on this event for any updates.) Children are more than welcome, but they must be supervised. ���

As a token of our appreciation, we're excited to announce that coffee � and delicious donuts � from the Heights Bakery will be provided for free at the end of the cleanup! So, let's join together for a rewarding morning of community service and some tasty treats! ��
