Fall Classic has been lighting up Chicago's music scene since 2011 while performing at Lincoln Hall, Metro, Sleeping Village, Bottom Lounge, Schubas, Empty Bottle, Summer Camp Music Festival and many more venues and festivals throughout the midwest. After 13 years, 4 full-length albums, 5 short films, and various EPs and singles, Fall Classic has crafted a distinct style all their own and an unforgettable live performance to boot. With several single releases and live shows on the horizon in 2024, the best is yet to come for Chicago's best-kept musical secret.
Widemouth's Mak and Jamie have been making music since the summer of 2023. Jamie responded to a flier that Mak put up in a Northwestern building which said something like "Looking for Bandmates that like Big Thief," and Jamie likes Big Thief. Their voices and brains seem to just fit; they write the songs together, about each other, their friends, whatever feels important. Lily (drums) joined in about six months later, in December—she responded to the same flier that netted Jamie. Levi (bass) responded in February to a different flier, but a flier nonetheless. They are based out of Chicago, and have been playing shows around Chicago, and are having a lot of fun, and are hoping to keep it going.
