MPDP CHEER TEAM. FALL 2026
Join the Metro Parks disABILITIES Program Cheer Team this fall.

The MPDP Cheer Team is open to participants of all ages and abilities. Cheerleaders will learn and practice cheers, routines, teamwork, and performance skills while preparing to support MPDP athletes at Special Olympics Tennessee Flag Football competitions and other special events.

CHEER CLINIC

Saturday, August 8
10:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Elmington Park

MPDP will host an introductory Cheer Clinic for all interested participants. This clinic is a great opportunity to meet the coaches, experience the program, and learn more about participating on the MPDP Cheer Team.

REGULAR PRACTICES

Saturday, October 17

MPDP Cheer Team members will perform and cheer at Special Olympics competitions and may participate in additional MPDP and community special events throughout the season. Additional performance dates and event details will be shared with participants and families as they become available.
