This workshops is FREE to the Public and sponsored by the Tennessee Historical Commission.
Location: Oddfellows Cemetery - 2001 Bethel Ave, Knoxville, TN 37915
Workshop times: 9am to 3pm, Friday, November 21 and Saturday November 22. (You do not have to attend both days!)
This FREE workshop on the basics of cemetery conservation will address common concerns in preservation and maintenance of cemeteries. Hands-on training and instruction will be led by Jonathan Appell of Atlas Preservation.
Attendees are encouraged to participate in cleaning, basic repair work, and the leveling and straightening of gravestones.
