Fall Arts Education Summit!

…and we’re back!

Ingenuity will once again be hosting the Fall Arts Education Summit bringing together new and returning arts partner organizations and school representatives for the first time in 3 years. ?The Fall Summit will be a key opportunity for arts partners and CPS teachers and administrators to rebuild strategic connections, identify arts need and interests in their schools, and get creative about programmatic possibilities.

Despite the challenges of the past few years, we continue our commitment to bringing arts educators together to ensure that students have access to a thriving and robust arts education.

All schools in attendance will be entered into a drawing for a total of $30,000 in cash prizes to be used for the development of arts partnerships in their schools .

SESSION OBJECTIVES

Participants will:

• Understand their influence and impact on the direction and quality of arts education at their schools, in their communities, and beyond
• Identify the strengths and gaps in services for individual CPS schools and their geographic areas
• Facilitate partnership through relationship-building and strategic connections

ARTS ORGANIZATION TABLE ASSIGNMENTS

All registered arts organizations will be assigned to a table at the Summit where they can set up materials about their arts program offerings. To confirm participation and secure a table assignment, please copy and submit the following with information about your organization and include the following: logo, org name, program description, and a photo. Please submit your slide to [email protected]. Table and seats will be assigned at check-in. Organizations will have up to 2 seats. Tables will be divided and color-coded by discipline. There will be personnel on site to assist you in finding your correct table assignment.

COVID 19 & SAFETY PROTOCOLS

As part of our COVID 19 protocols for in-person events we host, we ask that you agree to the following conditions. If you cannot abide by these requirements or you are feeling ill or showing any symptoms, we ask that you not attend the event. We believe these steps will best protect the health and safety for all of us at this event during a time when the pandemic is still with us.

I agree that:

• I am fully vaccinated in that I have received two shots of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one shot of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.

• I agree to wear a mask (except when eating or drinking) and abide by other safety requirements that may be posted by Ingenuity or the event facility.

• I acknowledge that notwithstanding being fully vaccinated I am still at risk of contracting COVID-19. I agree that I will not hold Ingenuity responsible if I contract COVID-19 or another illness and hereby release any and all claims or causes of action that seek to hold Ingenuity responsible should I contract COVID-19 or another illness as a result of attending the event.

PARKING

Vehicles can access the college’s parking garage from Jackson Boulevard, Wolcott Street, or Wood Street. Take a parking ticket to enter, and use a validated ticket to exit. Tickets may be validated inside the building (first floor) at the main security post.
