Fall is a great time to enjoy the fine arts at Lake Tahoe Community College! Join us on Thursday, Oct. 6 from 5pm-7pm as we welcome two new artists and exhibits to campus.In the Haldan Gallery located in the library building is Jason Adkins' "Figmentor" exhibit, with large, colorful, and distinctive oil paintings depicting fantastical images. Jason will host a free talk about his work and inspirations at 5:30pm on Oct. 6.
In the Foyer Gallery located in the Fine Arts building just outside the Duke Theatre will be Ken Bodner's "Earth, Air, Water, Sun: Elemental Sierra" exhibit of fine art photography. Ken lives in South Lake Tahoe, and has taken numerous courses at LTCC in digital, darkroom, color and landscape photography. His artist talk takes place at 6:30pm on Oct. 6.
Light refreshments will be served, and the public and entire LTCC community are welcome!
