Fall '25 Mathematical Association of America SoCal-Nevada Section Meeting

Please join us for the Fall 2025 meeting of the Southern California-Nevada Section of the MAA. Enjoy a day filled with mathematics and camaraderie on the beautiful campus of CSU Fullerton. The meeting will feature three keynote speakers as well as contributed paper and student poster sessions. But there is more: this time, we will celebrate the section's 100th birthday! There will be surprises you don't want to miss.

Contributed paper presenters: The application deadline is Wednesday, September 24th, at 5 pm. Presenters need to register for the conference and submit an abstract. You must be registered in order to present.

Poster Presenters: The application deadline is Monday, October 6th, at 5 pm. Presenters need to register for the conference and submit an abstract. You must be registered in order to present.

Priority Registration with Lunch: Please register by Friday, October 10th at 5 pm for an early bird registration rate, which comes with a printed nametag and registration packet. Registering by the priority deadline enables you to add a lunch box to your order. It also minimizes stress and helps us have a more accurate catering count. See below for lunch choices.

Online Pre-Registration (no lunch): Registering by Wednesday, October 16th, at 5 pm guarantees a printed nametag and registration packet. It also helps us with planning. There is no longer an option to add a lunch.

On-site/Just-In-Time Registration: All registrations are completed online. You can register on-site, but it will be through filling out an online registration form and completing an online payment on your phone or electronic device. Your nametag is not pre-printed and the registration packet is not guaranteed. There is no option to order lunch.

Lunch Options: If you pre-register by 5 pm on October 10th, you can order a boxed lunch to pick up at the conference site. This is an add-on when you buy a ticket, and you need to select both your ticket and the lunch add-on before you check out.

There are also restaurants nearby on Nutwood Ave.

You are always welcome to bring your own lunch and eat at the conference site (outdoors).

Parking: Weekend day parking is $6. The permit can be purchased through the ParkMobile app and Fullerton Guest Parking Portal.

The closest parking lot to Mihaylo Hall is the Eastside South Parking Structure (ENPS).
