Fall 2026 International Student Orientation Series - Graduate
About this Event
All new international graduate students starting at SFU this Fall 2026 are invited to our multi-part orientation series to get transition and settlement support.
The orientation series is comprised of pre- and post-arrival sessions. Please obtain tickets for each event that you would like to attend to receive event details and reminders.
The series will consist of the following topics and events:
- Immigration requirements and travel tips
- Medical insurance
- Housing on and off campus
- Social Insurance Number clinics
- Welcome socials
We strongly recommend that you sign up for all sessions to get comprehensive support. For more detailed information, please visit the International Student Orientation website. All session times are based on Pacific Daylight Time (PDT).
Zoom & Technical Requirements:
To attend our virtual sessions, you must have access to internet, and a working computer. Registered participants will be provided with a link in advance via email to access the online space.
