Fall 2024 Scholastic Chess Tournament

This event is open to all scholastic players through high school. There will be three sections:

• Kindergarten thru 4th grade.
• K - 8th grade (younger players may want to "play up" for an extra challenge).
• K - 12th grade, USCF Rated (a current USCF ID is required for this section - visit ).

Participants will compete in five rounds of chess, with each player allotted 30 minutes to complete their game, up to a maximum of one hour per game—though younger players often finish sooner.

Recording moves is mandatory in the Rated section. If possible, please bring your own clock.

Trophies will be awarded to the top players in each category, and the highest-performing team will receive a team plaque.
