FALL 2024 - Community Compost Give-Away Day. We are happy to announce our Fall 2024 Compost Give Away Day.
Bring your pick-up trucks, trailers and buckets and get some of our free organic compost for your planting needs!
There will be a slight change in procedure this time and going forward in order to accommodate the ever-growing demand for our great organic compost. This is an event to give back to our community and we will no longer be able to accommodate any commercial businesses that day.
Commercial businesses are encouraged to arrange with the plant manager separately to and leave this event for the general public. Make sure that if you come with a truck or trailer to bring a tarp to cover the load. We want to be a good neighbor and not get our compost all over the roadways and besides, it is the law. As always, trucks will be loaded inside the compost hall and there will be self-service/shovel your own stations for folks that only need a small amount to fill buckets for their smaller in-home planting needs. Just as last time, we will have some biochar as well.
