Faldet af Cikaros
Oplev tre af landets fremmeste artister, når de indtager scenen i den absurde, humoristiske og rørende cirkusperformance “Faldet”.
I forestillingen møder vi tre kvinder, som gennem hele deres liv har øvet sig i ikke at falde. Nu går de på opdagelse i faldets anatomi og mytologi med inspiration fra selvbiografisk materiale. Fra litteraturen og sproget til Einstein, Ikaros og syndefaldet.
På scenen sætter de ord på personlig, almenmenneskelig ængstelse, når de udfolder det både fysiske og eksistentielle fænomen ‘at falde’. De tre cirkusartister fryser ved tanken om kontroltabet og ydmygelsen i det lille fald. De mærker angsten for det store, uendelige fald, men kender forskellen på at falde og at fejle.
Publikumssuccesen “Faldet” havde premiere i november 2024, hvor den høstede stor ros fra Iscene.dk, der gav den fem stjerner.
Forestillingen er kurateret og præsenteret af CPH STAGE i samarbejde med Cikaros og AFUK.

ENG: Experience three of the country's leading artists when they take the stage in the absurd, humorous and touching circus performance "Faldet".
In the performance we meet three women who have practiced (not) falling throughout their lives. Now they explore the anatomy and mythology of falling with inspiration from autobiographical material. From literature and language to Einstein, Icarus and The Fall.
On stage, they put words to personal, universal anxiety as they unfold the physical and existential phenomenon of 'falling'. The three circus artists freeze at the thought of the loss of control and humiliation of the small fall. They feel the fear of the big, endless fall, but know the difference between falling and failing.
The audience success "Faldet" premiered in November 2024, where it received high praise from Iscene.dk, who gave it five stars.
The performance is curated and presented by CPH STAGE in collaboration with Cikaros and AFUK.
