LWV-CC will host a free public forum about media literacy and how to identify misinformation and disinformation on September 30 from 6:30-8:00 pm at the Haggard Library in Plano. Our presenter will be Dr. Lauren Ratliff Santoro, Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Texas at Dallas. She teaches a course on 'fake news'. This is a great opportunity to learn and be better prepared prior to the November election. This event is not sponsored by the Plano Public Library System or the City of Plano.
