FaithTech Sheffield: September meetup

A six-weekly meetup to bring together people who love tech and love Jesus. Each time we gather, we build community, learn from each other, and roll up our sleeves to work on meaningful projects that make a global impact.We’re trying something new for September, a “testimony night” – a model which all FaithTech communities around the world will use over the next 6 months. Come along to hear a panel discuss how they came to follow Jesus and how He impacts and changes the way they relate to faith and tech in both their work and personal lives in the everyday.

Wherever you are on your faith journey and your relationship to tech, please feel welcome to join us. The evening will follow this rough structure:

• Meet (from 18:00)

Arrive, grab a slice or two of pizza and connect with others who love Jesus and technology. This is your space to network, make new friends, ask questions of others and find future collaborators.

• Learn (19:00)

Listen to a panel drawn from our regular attenders who will reflect on how they came to follow Jesus and how He’s changed their lives. They will each focus on how their faith shapes their relationship to technology, others they work with and choices they make.

• Build (20:00)

Bring your ideas, a project you’re starting out on and would like us to critique, and get an update on the project we discussed in June: using AI in analysing and retelling stories in a safe way.
