About this Event
Join the FaithTech Boston September Meet-up
Are you a Christian who works in tech? Passionate to see technology leveraged for the Kingdom of God? Hungry to learn what it means to be redemptive and to build technology redemptively?
Come meet, learn, and build with other like-minded Christians in tech as we steward our skills for the glory of God together right here in Boston!
We'll meet to eat, learn and build together on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 6:00pm at Sattler College. Our guest speaker is MIT Professor Rosilind Picard. Professor Picard is a scientist, inventor, and engineer. She is founder and director of the Affective Computing research group at the MIT Media Lab and founding faculty chair of MIT's MindHandHeart Initiative. Professor Picard has co-founded two companies: Affectiva, providing emotion AI technology and Empatica, creating sensors and analytics to improve health. Professor Picard will speak about co-developing technologies to advance God's purposes. We will also continue our discussions about opportunities to participate in the FaithTech Boston Labs program.
We hope you will join us and be part of this tech community for Christ.
