Faithful Connections: Dinner for Christian Singles in Their 30s - Iowa City

Connect over faith and food.

As a Christian single in my 30s, I know it’s not always easy to meet others who share both my faith and stage of life—especially in the Eastern Iowa area. That’s why I’m organizing a simple, casual dinner to help change that. I’ll take care of the reservation for a small group of 8 at a local spot, so all you have to do is come ready to eat, talk, and connect. You don’t need to know anyone ahead of time—actually, I encourage you to come solo so you can meet people you might not otherwise cross paths with. This idea started because I simply wanted to meet other Christians. I’m just a local Christian, hoping to meet other people like me. If you’re part of a Bible-believing church and open to making new connections, I’d really love for you to join us. My hope is that we come as strangers and leave with new connections rooted in faith.

A few things to know:

• We’re keeping the group small—just 8 people—to get to know each other.
• There’s no cost to attend, but everyone will cover their own meal and drinks.
• Your privacy matters—any personal info you share stays with you unless you choose to exchange it with someone at the dinner.
• I’ll send out a follow-up confirmation email the morning of the event. Please reply by 12:00 p.m. CST that day to confirm your spot so that I have an accurate reservation count. If I don’t hear back by 12:01 p.m., I’ll offer your seat to someone else.
