About this Event

Our AGM this year, will include a greeting and comments from the Lord Mayor of Manchester, a report on FN4M activities since August 2025 as well as the appointment of continuing Trustees and appointment of new Trustees.

We will then be joined by Rev Dr Raj Patel who will be speaking on ‘The Joys of Being a Trustee’, focussing on the experience of stepping down when there is no one to take over and how to support the growth and redevelopment of a faith based charity.

Rev Dr Raj Patel is a Presbyter with a pastoral charge of Dialstone Lane Methodist Church, Davenport Methodist Church of the United Stockport Circuit, and of Vishala Hrudayam; a Telugu Methodist Fellowship of the Trafford Circuit. As well as being Co-Chair of the Greater Manchester Faith and Belief Advisory Panel and Chair of Stockport Interfaith.

This will be followed by a brief discussion on Rev Raj’s talk and a request for new Trustees, particularly a new Chair. We will finish the AGM with refreshments and the opportunity to network.
