Faith-Based Development Intensive

Calling all faith leaders interested in affordable housing! 

CommunityWorks is inviting you to a FREE Faith-based Development Financing Intensive on Saturday, March 29 from 8:30 am-12 pm at the Spartanburg County Office of Emergency Services.

After several successful training workshops, Community Works is once again partnering with F.A. Johnson of PASTORS Inc. to lead a training for faith leaders interested in affordable housing. The goal is to help faith leaders who are stepping into the world of affordable housing and/or community economic development. This intensive is designed for leaders who have property or are working to acquire property for development. The training will provide a broad overview of what leaders in faith communities can do as it relates to property-owned, community/commercial development, and affordable housing, and talk broadly about the logistics of financing projects.

8:30-9 am will be dedicated to breakfast and networking. Coffee and breakfast will be provided. We ask that no more than 4 members per church or faith organization register.
