About this Event
Our guest speaker will be Luke Bobo, Director of Strategic Partnerships, for Made to Flourish (www.madetoflourish.org), an organization dedicated to empowering pastors and their churches to integrate faith, work, and economic wisdom for the flourishing of their communities. Dr. Bobo brings a rich blend of experience to his role, having worked for 15 years in the marketplace as an engineer before pursuing an M. Div. and PhD. He is also the author of a number of books relating to faith and the marketplace.
The Charlotte Institute for Faith & Work’s purpose is to restore the connection between faith and work for the common good of Charlotte, and for the glory of God. CIFW provides opportunities for Charlotteans to learn about God’s vision for work and apply it to their vocations by helping participants to:
- Reimagine work in context of the Biblical narrative
- Equip Christians to live more fully integrated lives
- Cultivate community leading to cultural renewal.
This is a small group gathering, invite only. Please RSVP by June 3rd.
