Faith & Welcoming Communities Forum 2026
Building Safer, More Inclusive Communities Together
The North East Toronto Local Immigration Partnership (NET LIP) invites you to join us for the Faith & Welcoming Communities Forum on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 (10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.).
This full-day gathering will bring together faith leaders, interfaith councils, newcomer-serving organizations, community members, and public sector partners to explore how we can collectively address hate, strengthen community safety, and build more inclusive and welcoming neighbourhoods.
Across Toronto, faith communities and newcomer populations are navigating rising polarization, misinformation, and hate incidents. This Forum creates space for dialogue, shared learning, and practical collaboration grounded in solidarity and equity.
What to Expect:
- Presentations from multi-faith leaders and community advocates
- Insights on hate crime trends and community safety initiatives
- Strategies for strengthening trust across sectors
- Interactive engagement activities designed to spark collaboration
- Opportunities to build relationships and sustain a network beyond the event
- Morning refreshments and lunch will be proviced
This Forum is not just about discussion — it is about action. Participants will help shape ideas for ongoing partnership, advocacy, and coordinated responses to emerging challenges affecting our communities to help the launch of an Inter-faith/inter-sector Network
Whether you are a faith leader, community advocate, service provider, public partner, or engaged community member, your voice and experience matter.
Let’s work together to foster belonging, justice, and collective care across Toronto.
