Love INC is launching Faith and Finances Monday, September 16. Faith & Finances is a faith-centered course for people who continuously fall in a cycle of need. This course equips participants to address obstacles that keep them trapped in poverty: predatory lending, poor credit, low financial literacy and broken relationships.
Participants, mentors and volunteers meet monthly in order to enjoy a meal and learn more about how to be good stewards of God's provision.
Classes will be held the third Monday of each month:
6:15 - 8:00pm Monday, September 16
6:15 - 8:00pm Monday, October 21
6:15 - 8:00pm Monday, November 18
6:15 - 8:00pm Monday, December 16
Childcare and dinner provided.
Subject Matter:
Session 1: Money beliefs – the attitudes and beliefs as they relate to the foundation of our financial behavior and habits.
Session 2: How to save and spend better
Session 3: How to handle debt
Session 4: How to open a bank account and plan for emergencies
